Congress & Climate Change

Professor Greg Dotson discussed the historic Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act as part of a “Congress and Climate Change” panel discussion May 24.

After his remarks, Dotson was joined for a panel discussion with Provost Patrick Phillips and law school dean and Dave Frohnmayer Chair in Leadership and Law Marcilynn Burke.

Dotson is a faculty member of the Environmental and Natural Resources Law Center at the UO school of Law, where he leads the Energy Law and Policy Project. He recently worked as the chief counsel for the U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, where he helped move the landmark public works bill through Congress.

Before that, Dotson spent two decades working in the House of Representatives as well as serving as the top energy and environment staff member on the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
